Innovation is a key asset in the GMF value chain which allows us to effectively anticipate our Customers’ needs. The Company works on the development of more efficient new equipment which implements the latest technological advances.SCAM system
Among other projects, GMF has developed and implemented the SCAM system (Automatic Machinery Control System) which provides data about the positioning, the motor hours, speed, insertions, gas-oil and maintenance for the track maintenance machines.
Likewise, GMF has commissioned a remote control system for shunting locomotives, designed with proprietary technology, which allows remote manoeuvre of the train and can be adapted to various types of vehicles.
